Job Description: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our License & Permits team. The Senior Executive will ensure compliance with all licenses, permits, and regulations related to our store operations. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of local, state, and federal licensing requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research local, state, and federal licensing and permit requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and licensing procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely license and permit applications.
- Coordinate with government agencies for smooth processing of applications.
- Track and follow up on application statuses to obtain approvals.
- Act as the primary contact between the company and regulatory authorities.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to address challenges related to licenses and permits.
- Promote a compliance culture of safety and integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of all licenses, permits, and related documentation.
- Prepare compliance reports for management review.
- Conduct store walks and surprise compliance inspections, sharing observations with the corporate office.
- Monitor compliance with licensing and permit conditions and promptly address any issues.
Skills Required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred candidates from e-commerce and retail industry backgrounds.
Educational Qualification
- Any graduate can apply.
- Priority will be given to candidates with an LLB degree.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in license and permit management for stores.
