Job Description
Basic Function:
- Handle inbound/outbound calls from customers.
- Provide customer service for claims and policy administration.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure activities are performed in compliance with internal and external rules.
- Follow up with internal/external customers for information and query resolution.
- Identify inefficiencies and assist in driving process improvement activities.
- Ensure targets are met in accordance with SLAs and internal standards.
- Adhere to established attendance schedules.
Performance Parameters:
- Meet process performance as per agreed KPIs.
- Maintain training quality and throughput.
- Ensure attendance and schedule adherence.
Primary Interactions:
Internal:
- AM/LAM/Manager for unresolved issues.
- Subject Matter Expert for process-related issues and escalated transactions.
- QCA for performance feedback and audit updates to training curriculum.
External:
- Escalation teams at the client end for clarifications and query resolution.
Skills Required
Technical Skills:
- Good computer navigation skills.
- Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel).
Process Specific Skills:
- 1 year of insurance experience preferred.
- Good typing speed (25 WPM) with 90% accuracy.
- Strong language skills for handling calls in English.
- Ability to read and understand related reports.
Soft Skills:
- Strong oral communication and excellent phone manner.
- Active listening skills.
- Document interpretation skills.
- Customer service focus.
- Self-discipline and result orientation.
- Teamwork, adaptability, multitasking, problem-solving, data gathering ability, and attention to detail.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Age Requirement: 18 to 55 years old.
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
